On November 28, the main line of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link was connected, marking an important milestone in the construction of the whole project.

Chief engineers and senior managers of the project shared with GDToday the latest construction progress and how this will promote the socioeconomic development in the region.

As a super sea-crossing project, the Link is expected to open to traffic in 2024. By then, the traveling time from Shenzhen to Zhongshan will be shortened to within 30 minutes.
